Volunteers Welcome
St. Augustine Volunteers are the heartbeat of our parish community. Volunteerism is a wonderful way to offer your time, skills, and talents, to support the various activities and functions of the church. Volunteers play a pivotal role in bringing the church’s mission and vision to life, and they embody the teachings of Christ through selfless giving.
If you wish to volunteer in one of our current ministries and groups, or if you have any particular skills that may fill a niche that is not listed, please share your gifts with us!

I have been a parishioner at St. Augustine Parish for 47 years, along with my husband Sean. We raised 5 children in Dundas, and our family has grown to include in-laws and grandchildren.
I have always volunteered in some capacity in the parish – as a choir member/cantor for over 25 years, in the marriage preparation ministry with Sean for many years, and on the Baptism Preparation team. I volunteered at St. Bernadette School for 18 years; much of that work was helping with school Masses, Mass choirs, and liaising with the parish on behalf of the parent council.
I have served as the parish volunteer screener/coordinator since 2020. With Father Whitfield’s guidance and support we have seen our volunteer ministries and groups grow and thrive. I enjoy working with all of the wonderful volunteers of our parish, in all capacities, who have so faithfully and lovingly given of themselves in our parish community life.
